Ushers welcome people to the church and assist with seating and attending to the faithful. They create a welcoming atmosphere during the liturgy by circulating collections, assisting the disabled by opening doors and locating special seating areas for those in walkers and wheelchairs, keep the pews clear of clutter and facilitate Communion procession.
