Young Adults Ministry at Guardian Angels

Follow us on Instagram @ youngadults_ga

The purpose of our ministry is to connect 18-39 year old Catholic Young Adults to Christ and His Church. We do this by offering opportunities for spiritual development, by hosting social events and offering ways to serve within the community. Wherever you are in life: single, recently graduated high school or college, new to the area, married, or discerning the religious life, we desire to bring you to a closer communion with God. Come and satisfy that hunger for a strong spiritual awakening that stems from the need to discover who you are, who God is, and what His plan is for your life.

We are here to respond to questions such as:

  • Where are all the people who share my values?
  • How do you meet good people once you’ve moved here?
  • How do I bring my values into my dating or marriage life?
  • How can I live my faith today?
  • Is there any praise & worship within my community?
  • Where can I share some of my time or talent?
  • How can I learn more about Catholic teachings?

As you navigate through our website, you will find answers to these and many more questions that you may have about your Catholic faith and your vocation in life. Each of you has many God-given gifts and talents to offer the Church and young adult community. We provide you with the opportunity to serve the less fortunate, to feed your spiritual hunger, and to share your vitality, optimism, and fervor with other young adults. Become witnesses to the Gospel by engaging with young adult communities in your area.

We look forward to ministering to you and making the Catholic Church ever more effective in proclaiming the Kingdom of God. Young Adult Ministry is our mission and our joy.

Please contact Isaac Deken if you are interested in in getting connected with our Young Adult Group! Some of our Parish involvement includes, Bible Study, Worship Nights, Eucharistic Ministering at Mass, and running the “Fun Foods” booth at the Fall Festival. In addition, we love to attend Young Adult events put on by the Diocese of San Diego and we are apart of the East County Young Adult group called ECYA with our other east county catholic parishes.
