Christian Initiation (C.I.) is primarily about conversion and the ways in which we come to know the good news of the Gospel and how it applies to our everyday life. All are welcome to begin this journey of conversation and to fall in love with Christ.
Inquiry Sessions
For adults 18 and older who wish to know about Jesus and the Catholic Faith. Inquiry is drop-in style once month. Please join us for 8:30AM Mass and then a short inquiry session after to begin your journey. Check the bulletin for dates!
Faith Formation
If you have a child 7 years old or older, who is in need of the Sacraments of Initiation, (Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation) please visit the Faith Formation page.
CI Sessions
Monday 6:30-8:00PM on Zoom or In Person on Sundays at 10am in the Conference Room. For more information: email Larry, rcia.santee@gmail.com or call Tammy, 619-596-3282.
The CI sessions include Catechumens, Candidates, Godparents, Sponsors, CI Team, family members and supporters.
- Catechumen: a person preparing for Baptism.
- Candidate: a baptized person preparing for full initiation in the Catholic Church.
- Godparents and Sponsors are invited to accompany Catechumen and Candidates by attending CI Sessions regularly.

Previous marriages
Persons in the CI process in need of regulating their marriages with the Catholic church need to call the rectory and make an appointment to speak with our pastor, Fr. André.
