Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are delighted to begin this year of Faith Formation for 2026-2027 and share faith with you and your family. Parents / Guardians are the first and most important witness of faith and Christ’s love with their children, and we are here to assist you through our interactive and engaging Faith Formation experience at Guardian Angels. As disciples of Jesus Christ, we are all in it together as a community of faith.
This year we are excited to announce the use of the following curriculums for the 2026-2027 Faith Formation year:
Kindergarten Saint Mary’s Press Discover!, Bible Story Booklet
Grades 1-5 Saint Mary’s Press Discover!, The Catholic Children’s Bible
JR High Grades 6-8 Saint Mary’s Press, LIVE IT and Connect Ascension Press
Confirmation Preparation Ascension Press, CHOSEN: Your Journey to Confirmation
Faith Formation year begins on Sunday, September 13th, 2026:

Tuition for 2026-2027 Faith Formation:

| High School Retreat Fee Deposit | $50.00 per High School Student. This deposit goes towards the High School Retreat – March 5-7, 2027 |
| Returning Participants – Bible Discount | $20 Discount per child who has their Saint Mary’s Press Children’s or Youth Bible from the previous year. (1st and 6th grade will receive a new bible.) |
| Family Discounts Kindergarten – High School Confirmation **Please deduct bible discount on top of family discount | 2 Children- $170.00 3 Children- $220.00 4+ Children- $290.00 |
**ALL CHILDREN entering 1st and 6th grade will need to purchase the provided Bible.
** PLEASE do not forget to subtract BIBLE DISCOUNT if you are a returning student and it is applicable.
If you know of Catholic families who have children over the age of 7 years old in need of Baptism, Confirmation, and First Communion, please encourage them to sign up for any Faith Formation sessions of their grade level. To fulfill their immediate preparation for the Sacraments of Initiation, they will also participate in dismissal at Sunday Mass for Christian Initiation.
The quality of the Guardian Angels Faith Formation program is directly correlated to dedication of our parishioners who have become certified Catechists by the Diocese of San Diego in order to properly catechize our young people. In addition, all adults working with children are background checked and trained through the Diocese of San Diego Safe Environment curriculum. Children during the beginning of the year will also be given instruction on the No-Go-Tell rule so they can learn how to protect themselves.
