Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are delighted to begin this year of Faith Formation for 2021-2022 in-person and share faith with you and your family. Your children’s spiritual, emotional, and physical health is our priority. Parents / Guardians are the first and most important witness of faith and Christ’s love with their children, and we are here to assist you develop your domestic church at home through our interactive and engaging Faith Formation experience at Guardian Angels. As disciples of Jesus Christ, we are all in it together as a community of faith.
This year we are excited to announce the use of the following curriculums for the 2021-2022 Faith Formation year:
Preschool Ascension Press, The Great Adventure Kids
Kindergarten Sadlier, Discovering God’s Love
Grades 1-5 Saint Mary’s Press Discover!, The Catholic Children’s Bible
JR High Grades 6-8 Saint Mary’s Press, LIVE IT with Credible Catholic, Science and Faith
Confirmation Preparation Ascension Press, CHOSEN
Faith Formation year begins the week of September 19th, 2021:
Tuition for 2021-2022 Faith Formation:

**Partial Scholarships are Available, Please Speak with Tammy Mansir
**ALL CHILDREN entering 1st and 6th grade will need to purchase a Bible no matter what.
** PLEASE do not forget to subtract BIBLE DISCOUNT if applicable.
If you know of Catholic families who have children over the age of 7 years old in need of Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation, please encourage them to sign up for any Faith Formation sessions of their grade level. To fulfill their immediate preparation for the Sacraments of Initiation, they will also participate in dismissal at Sunday Mass for Christian Initiation.
The quality of the Guardian Angels’ Faith Formation program is directly correlated to dedication of our parishioners who have become certified Catechists by the Diocese of San Diego in order to properly catechize our young people. In addition, all adults working with children are background checked and trained through the Diocese of San Diego Safe Environment curriculum. Children during the beginning of the year will also be given instruction on the No-Go-Tell rule so they can learn how to protect themselves.
