There are a variety of organizations in the parish to suit almost any need. Please check out our links to the various groups, or call the parish office for help in finding the group you need.

FILIPINO-AMERICAN ORGANIZATION:  Pat Philpot (987-7569 & Maria Lust (448-6350) are co-chairs.
The group meets every Friday PM at a member’s home to pray the Santo Niño’s prayers, share food and companionship.
All parishioners are welcome to attend.
The Fil-Am group hosts a food booth at the annual parish festival: coffee, donuts, pancit and lumpia five or six Sunday am’s per year.
And on the feast of Santo Niño in January, the group arranges for a special Mass followed by a wonderful fiesta in the Parish Center.
Many members are involved in several ministries in our church.

HISPANIC COMMUNITY: Laura Mellizo is chairperson at 619-449-7286. The group meets on the second Tuesday of the month in a member’s home to pray and to plan fundraisers and activities for the year. They host a food booth at the Parish Fall Festival and arrange a special Mass in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe on the Sunday near her feast day (December 12) and have a fiesta in the parish center afterwards. Many members are involved in other parish ministries: Spanish Bible Study or Prayer Group meets on Mondays 7pm. INDONESIAN COMMUNITY: Ben Liem 858-444-5750 is the president of the Indonesian Catholic Community. They meets for prayer the 1st Saturday of the month in the Social Hall at 12pm with lunch following.  They also meet for Mass the 3rd Saturday of the month in church at 1pm with lunch following.

MARRIAGE ENCOUNTER: Michael & Judy Carteron: (619) 258-0159.  Join the millions of couples worldwide who have learned how to keep their marriage vibrant and alive! Turn a good marriage into a great marriage through a Marriage Encounter Weekend!  This is a positive and personal experience for a couple which offers them a techniques for loving communication that they can use for the rest of their lives. It’s an opportunity to look deeply into their relationship with each other and with God; it’s a time to share their feelings, their hopes, fears, joys and frustrations.

PARISH BLOOD BANK: Richard Markey at 619-449-8113.
We hold blood drives twice a year in the Parish Center.  If you or a family member are in need of assistance, please contact  Richard at the number above.

PARISH CENTER: Joe Zuniga at 619-448-1213, ext. 309.  Our parish center is a 10,000 sq.ft. hall which can be adapted or modified by movable walls into separate rooms of different dimensions. It also contains a very fine commercial-grade kitchen. When the Parish Center is not in use for parish activities, it is available for wedding parties and other social events.

PARISH COUNCIL:  Michele & Bernie Diamond at 619-258-9824.  The Parish Council acts as a representative voice of the people of God to the Pastor. The Council shall provide an open and honest forum of communication and dialogue regarding parish affairs among the Pastor and the laity. The Council shall assist the Pastor in the administration of the Parish through recommendation and active cooperation. The Council shall continually survey both the spiritual and temporal needs of the Parish, the community and the Diocese and shall develop programs aimed at fulfilling those needs. The Council shall encourage coordination and mutual assistance in the practical working out of the programs of the various Parish organizations.

The Pro-Life Group meets to pray, study, and plan activities. They sponsor a pro-life walk at Santee Lakes in October, host an information booth at the Fall Festival, and sponsor a speaker for week-end Masses once a year.
